Answer: It means the fingers are shorter. Mens sizes fit the same in the palm but fingers are shorter.
Question: Is a men’s “medium/large” smaller than a Large?
Answer: There is some stretch, though there is 0.5 cm difference between med/large and large, if you measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm where it meets the wrist…medium/large will fit a hand that is 22.5 to 23 cm long. Large will fit 23 to 23.5 cm.
